Weed-runner - Offshore Trolling Lures and Teasers From Eye Catcher Lures

The Weed Runner has a new "Hybrid" head and a very full straight mylar skirt. The Eye Catcher Hybrid acrylic head is designed to increased the activity of the lure and shed unwanted weeds. A great method with these is to rig them with light leader and a smaller hook that will be covered by the skirt. The weed shedding head and thick mylar skirt makes this lure perfect for ripping around and through heavy weeded areas while searching for productive water. Fishing a ballyhoo with these isn't even necessary. Their tremendous flash and popping just scream fleeing prey as the rip across the water. Just add enough egg sinker under the skirt for the speed that you'll be running. This method even works great when the lure is completely skipping, flipping and popping out of the water like flying fish that are trying to escape the area.
